FAQ

Can I use Radar for $0/month?

Yes. Radar is completely free for students and faculty.

Do I need to give Radar full access to all my emails, calendar, etc. for it to work?

No. Students and faculty never give Radar full access like other AI tools. Only organization leaders ever provide access to specific communication channels (depending on what they choose), which Radar scopes to minimum necessary privilege (read-only).

How does Radar handle event visibility?

By default, users can only see events at their university — Brown students see Brown events, Harvard students see Harvard events, etc.. If an organization makes events private, users will also need an access code to view their events.

How do I get set up on Radar?

Students/faculty: Sign in w/ your school email. After login, you'll see your university's organization list. Click 'Add to calendar' for the ones you care about – their events will now automatically show up on your GCal.

Organization leaders: Same process as above. To add an organization to Radar, submit a new request. After receiving approval, connect the platforms you want Radar to look at (email, Discord, etc.)
